    Hey Jaclyn!
I really LOVED this video. But whats new i love all of your videos!! :) I just wanted to request an updated brush video! I want to know all of your new favorite brushes along with maybe what you use to clean your brushes. You had mentioned before that you use olive oil and dish soap but i have no idea how to do it and i dont want to ruin my new brushes! Anyway the last brush video you talked mostly about sigma brushes but i have noticed you have been using morphie? PLEASE do an updated video because good brushes make all the difference in the world when applying my makeup:) BTW thank you so much for taking so much time to make these videos and tutorials. I have an obsession with makeup and I have always tried so hard but i grew up with 5 brothers and my mom doesn’t really wear makeup so I never had anyone to teach me. You literally became my go-to for everything makeup and I love hearing about the products you love. THANK YOU!!!
P.S.- if it is ever possible to do a meet and greet in Las Vegas I would love to meet you!

    Hi Jaclyn,
I really wasn’t sure where to write this comment. I wanted to send it to you directly so only you would see it, but I just couldn’t figure out how to do it. I hope this is OK that I’m writing this here. The reason I’m writing you is because I wanted to thank you for your videos. I know you get that a lot, but let me explain a bit more. I’m 45 years old, and about 8 years ago I started having major panic attacks. They got worse by the day, and the more they happened, the less I would leave my home. Now I haven’t left my house for a few years, and as you can imagine, it can get a bit depressing. I totally gave up on myself physically. I’ve gained a lot of weight, I can’t go out and get my hair cut, so I just do it myself, or not at all and throw it in a pony tail 99% of the time, and all of my makeup is over 10 years old. I use it once in a while, but it’s pretty bad! I used to love to put makeup on and feel pretty. I guess I just forgot to do it, even if it’s just for myself and my husband. About 6 months ago I found your channel, and it has completely renewed my attitude. I look forward to your videos so much! You’re so amazing at what you do, but you also seem so caring. My husband and I are struggling financially, so I haven’t been able to buy any new makeup yet. But our 10th wedding anniversary is in December, and my sister and my whole family are coming over to give us a big party. She asked me for a list of things that we need, and usually I would put down things that are very practical, but not too fun. This time I said I wanted a gift certificate to Sephora or Ulta. Until 6 months ago I didn’t even know those places existed. I am trying really hard to get over the feeling that it’s selfish to spend money on myself. Everyone sees a huge difference in me, and so much of it is because of you and what you do. My husband is so wonderful, but I know it has been hard for him. He is so much happier now that I’m happier. I feel kind of like I’m walking out of a long dark tunnel and I can’t finally see a bit of light at the end of it. I hope that this didn’t come off sounding like a sob story, because I feel it’s just the opposite. Everybody has their own struggles, but I wanted to thank you personally for helping me with mine!!!
    Very Sincerely,
    Jennifer Kemper

    Hello!
I just started watching your tutorials and I love them! Thank you for posting. You always mention to give you ideas for new topics. I looked for the topic I am interested in and I didnt see it. If you have already done this, my apologies!
I am somewhat new to the make-up world. I saw your 5 minute face tutorial and I loved that! Basically what I am looking for is a beginners tutorial. I want to spend $300-500 and go out and buy all the basics I need to start working my way towards different looks. You use a lot of different brushes and powders and at times it can be confusing for someone who is looking to get started. I was hoping you might be willing to do a tutorial on the basics. What are the easiest products to start with and what to use to apply them? I know that all the brushes will eventually be needed…but what do I need to get started?
    Thanks again!
    Mel

    Jaclyn!

Let me start off by saying I loooove your tutorials! I have always liked putting makeup up and getting dolled up, but I was SO BASIC before I saw your tutorials! In just a few months you have let me know SO MUCH about makeup. Literally, I’m OBSESSED! I used to not wear makeup to work, or do it on a daily basis, and I promise I look forward to it every day. You are SO my inspiration. I hope that I can one day inspire people the way you have inspired me! I love just about everything about you. THANK YOU!
