Sigma Advanced Artistry Brush Set Review

Sigma has just released their new brush sets!

These brushes are new to the cosmetic community and I must say, so far, so good!

IMG_1736There are 3 kits “Spot On Concealer Kit” “The Perfect Blend Kit” & “Extreme Color Payoff Kit” If you choose to purchase them separately, or just purchase one, they will come in these individual white boxes.

IMG_1737If you Purchase it as a complete kit, which is the “Advanced Artistry Set” You will get all 3 kits in this triangle box (love this packaging)

I must admit, I was given the opportunity to have these brushes as my own over a month ago when I did my Sigma meet & greet! I have been sneaky & hiding it from you since they didn’t release till this week! So I have had a good amount of time with these and have a pretty solid opinion on them!

IMG_1746My absolute favorite: ‘The Perfect Blend Kit’

The 4 brushes on the left are AMAZING! I don’t know how I lived without them in the past! (thats dramatic, but seriously) They are useful in every day looks and very dramatic. They allow you to precisely blend, while maintaining complete control. I have nothing but great things to say! Second from the right (E71) is great for a brow bone highlight. It allows you to get a beautiful, diffused highlight without being harsh! The yellow one to the far right (E48) is the only one that I don’t reach for. I understand the idea behind it, but for the average person its not going to be an every day brush. I will say, I still think this kit is worth it and extremely useful!

My second favorite: ‘Extreme Color Payoff Kit’

This kit is designed to give you the strongest & most pigmented application of your eyeshadow or liner. Because of the shortness & density of the bristles, applying eyeshadow is SO easy! The moment I saw this kit, I knew I was going to love it without even trying it yet. I appreciate all the different sizes in brush heads, because you are able to get as detailed and precise as you want! They took the normal “all over eyeshadow brush” and raised the bar! Absolutely LOVE these brushes! IMG_1756

Last but not not least: ‘Spot-On Concealer Kit’

For me personally, its VERY hard to sell a concealer brush to me. I am loyal to the F86. I will say, my favorite it the F64 (the fat one in the middle) There are many ways to use this brush… Concealer, cheekbone highlight & setting the under eye with powder. The F66 (second from the right) is very nice for getting concealer in tough spots, like the corner of the eye. Also, if you like to contour the nose.. THIS IS YOUR BRUSH. The E58 (third from right, next to fatty) will give you full coverage concealer. If you have extreme dark circles or just enjoy a full coverage concealer, this will provide that for you.

So basically I would recommend  ‘Perfect Blend Kit’ & ‘Extreme Color Payoff Kit” to anyone & everyone!! but for me personally the ‘Spot-On Concealer Kit’ is not needed because I am committed to my F86 for life baby!

Hi Jaclyn!!!! Omg I like love you so much it’s not even funny. :3 First off I am so excited that sigma decided to do this! I don’t have good eye shadow brushes at all so it’s very frustrating to do makeup. I only have a out of shape pencil brush, a brush and eyeliner double sided lid brush and a tiny tiny smudge brush. Trying to do an eye look with these three brushes is annoying! Lol. Also I was wondering if you could do a blog post about the best eyeshadow palette with the best shades for a beginner? I’m hoping for my birthday and Christmas I may be able to get some makeup and I need a good palette. ^.^ My parents don’t have to much money but I have my fingers crossed!! :D Thanks again Jaclyn, love ya!! <3

First off let me say i love your youtube channel. You are AMAZING but i haven’;t had such a good time with the customer service with Sigma, because I bought the F80 in the summer and it currently just started shedding like crazy. I can’t apply my foundation without getting 20 or more hairs falling out and i only wash it with olive oil and dish soap every two weeks so i don;t understand the problem. I have sent multiple emails but haven’t received any feedback. Any thoughts..?
