Plaid At The Park

I am beyond obsessed with plaid.
I have been wearing plaid since I was 16 & I love the fact that you can find it everywhere right now!
I bought this cropped plaid shirt because its so different!
I paired it with a pair of grey high-waisted denim.
The jeans meet right where the shirt ends which makes it super comfy
& I don’t have to show too much skin.
You could also pair this with a high waisted skirt for a cuter look
(with tights and boots for the colder season of course)

Just an FYI: the majority of us cannot afford a $200 pair of jeans and a $500 pair of boots. We can’t all be “YouTube famous” and make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year with tons of stuff just handed to us. Most of us have real jobs with real responsibilities and would never think of spending $1000 on an outfit. Just some food for thought before you brag in your next blog post.

For a ball park rule for view based $ is the number of views on the video divided by 1,000, times $7-$12 depending on how good their network is. So every 100,000 views on a video is $700-$1200 right there from one video. Product placements/sponsored videos are flat rates of 1k or 5k. Then commission links from store/sigma type websites. So yes, popular youtubers including Jaclyn make just under a million a year. she’s a fucking genius for doing it. Yes she is the most loyal and true out of youtube gurus. But how can you hate on someone that gets paid to do MAKEUP TUTORIALS and live large? I’m not saying Jaclyn lives beyond her means. To each their own. But you cannot hate on her for getting paid to do what she loves. OH AND….. Sephora and ulta periodically send them gift cards in increments of $100. How often you get them depends on how popular you are. It’s. Fucking. Genius. Haters to the left. Jaclyn hill forever.

I think it’s ridiculous for people to be mad at someone for making good money. It is jealousy. They are jealous that they don’t make that much money. She’s not bragging about anything. You get what you pay for. That goes with anything in life. And if you could afford it then you would spend that much too. People just say they wouldn’t because they’ve never had the money to know. She worked hard to get where she’s at and loves what she does. I don’t understand why people have to be hateful because they don’t do what they like doing or that what they’re doing doesn’t make that much money. It’s stupid. Just want to hurt someone’s feelings to make themselves feel better. So selfish. I love you Jaclyn, you are amaze balls keep doing what you do. So many people love you and you know it.

I think the look is very YOU!! I love it! Also I think its pretty funny how everyone is looking straight at the prices of the seriously its not that hard to find dupes. No need to be jelly. Besides like Jaclyn has said in one of her previous videos EVERYBODY can be “youtube famous”. So if that is why you are jealous that she can afford designer and you can’t its not that hard to upload youtube videos. So instead of complaining about it …start yourself a youtube channel and maybe one day you too can afford designer clothes.

Food for thought folks: instead of hating on the fact you can’t afford this particular look, why not use it as inspiration and find pieces that work in your particular budget? That’s what I plan to do!
Love your style Jaclyn, looking forward to more OOTD posts!

People! Calm down! She is constantly asked “where did you get those earrings!” “OMG I love your top I must have it!” Then is criticized when she answers! Who cares how she earns her money. Or where she purchased her clothes. Do you and let her do her! She shouldn’t have to change her look or buy different things because you can’t afford it! Just look at all the pretty clothes and enjoy the candy for your eyes! That is what her channel and the blog is about. A chance to be indulgent and look at nice things!

Jaclyn, please don’t stop posting where your fashion comes from. The people that love you appreciate you linking everything, remember that! I love knowing what brand an item is or where it comes from even if I am not going to necessarily purchase it. Any person not happy with your price of choices should just take it as style “inspiration” or go to a different blogger instead of stating mean accusations. Keep up the amazing work, girl!

You are a beautiful girl. But darling what’s with the yellow face? You look so two toned compared to your hands and the rest of your body. Why do you try to hide your true ski tone with shades that are too yellow and don’t match?

I’m not trying to “hate”, but I know that not EVERY outfit you wear is that expensive. Just like every makeup look you do isn’t with all high end makeup. The outfit looks great, nonetheless. Just throw in affordable fashion every once in a while like you do with makeup drugstore looks.

Love this outfit! :) one of my favourites that youve posted! :)

I have to say too that i completely agree with Tori and most of you on here, its so silly when people decide to hate on others and just seems like a complete waste of time! Jaclyn busts her butt and makes a kick ass channel and is an inspiration in working hard and creating her own buisness, i most definitley admire her and want to take a leaf out of her book in making my own dreams come true! Be happy for other peoples success and learn from them! There really is no need for negativity! :) also Jaclyn may spend her money on clothes where you might spend the money on other stuff, i know i wouldnt spend $1000 on clothes but i sure do have a ton of scrapbooking stickers that probably add up! ;) xx

Money doesn’t matter here. The point of the blog is to show OOTD by Jaclyn and that can be used as ‘inspiration’ for an outfit you’d like to put together at a cheaper alternative. Example;: I wouldn’t have thought to wear cropped plaid shirt with higher waisted jeans.. that is an easy look to recreate and draw other inspiration from. Keep blogging Jaclyn. I love yourv style.

Hello awesome Jaclyn! I’ve also been obsessing about plaid and happy about being able to find it easily now. You are absolutely gorgeous and you always make me happy! Lots of love to you! <3

And to the people bitching about the cost of her outfit…you can bitch about it online or you can use your time to go out and make more money! ….Or you can understand that you can use this as inspiration and go find similar stuff much cheaper. It's there if you just look for it. H&M has this cropped plaid shirt for instance and its really nice
