Naked 3 Palette Swatches & Review

“This palette comes with 12 brand new rose hued shades” – Urban Decay

I must say, I was expecting the shades to be more rosy than they are! the first half of the palette is all light rosy shades. While the second half of the palette, explores more into brown, taupe shades. They are very pretty! Some of the shadows are very pigmented, while others are a little bit more difficult to work with.IMG_2495

Don’t mind my goosebumps! It was cold!IMG_2517
IMG_2531As you can see, these shades (excluding the 3 to the right) are all rosy in tone

IMG_2535
Now these.. toward the end, are more neutral! The darker shades in this palette have more pigment than the lighter shades. I had to work hard to get the lighter shades to swatch well!IMG_2539
The light highlight shade all the way to the left, is a matte. You have two other mattes in the palette. The matte’s seem to be a little bit difficult to blend. & the rest are shimmer! ‘Dust’ (second from left) is very chunky in consistency! All of the other shades, have great color pay off and easy to work with!IMG_2550
One last photo in a different area, so you can see the shades in a different light!

Overall, I like this palette. There are a few shades I will definitely be using more than once! I would not recommend this to a beginner. I think the Original Naked Palette or Naked 2 Palette would be better for those needs. This is a fun palette, but I would personally need a few more matte & highlighting shades to get a completed look.

Right now the palette is sold out! & if it’s anything like the first 2 palettes, it will be sold out till after the Holidays. If you are desperate beyond belief, you can find it HERE

Personally, I definitley can’t complete a whole look with this, (just like the other naked palettes..) but the light nuetral colors are gorgeous, and would look AMAZING paired with warm matte shades is the crease. I’m on the waiting list at macys, and will probally pick it up once it releases in stores :) thanks for the review, love!

Hi Jaclyn! I love referring to your reviews before making my trip to Sephora. I was curious to know whether you’ve tried any of Stila’s Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadows. I think the colors are GORGEOUS and would probably work perfectly for New Year’s but I’m pretty intimidated by them! If you happen to give them a try, could you post your thoughts? Also, I’m keeping an eye out for any New Year’s tutorials. I’ll be on a cruise this December 31st and I’m hoping to have some amazing makeup kudos to your tutorial! As always, love your videos and your sunshine of a personality. :)

I was gifted this palette by a friend. The lighter shades blend better with a eye primer.

The palette you have linked to on amazon is a fake, you can tell by the way the color names are not centered under the actual eyeshadows like they are in the pictures you posted. The colors also look nothing like the real thing. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THE PALETTE FROM THIS LINK.

Hey thx for the review! I love you and your videos :-) I suffer from extreme anxiety and panic attacks and was wondering if you Could please do a video about your anxiety and how you deal with it? That would be awesome because I don’t know anyone who goes through the same thing I do and it’s very hard for me to cope sometimes.

Hey Jaclyn! Have you ever used/tried Inglot cosmetics? I just found out about them and thought it looked amazing but wanted the openion of a professional makeup artist on them before I purchased them.

Thank you so much for your videos! I am in grad school studying physical therapy, but my first love it make-up! Science nerd/make- up fanatic… haha! When I need a study break from gross anatomy, I LOVE watching your videos!!! I am currently wearing Kat Von D’s foundation and love the coverage, but it is way too dry for my skin. Do you have anything you recommend?? I’ve been thinking of trying Make Up Forever HD or maybe even Laura Mercier??

You say this is not for beginners can you review Sigma Enlighten palette? It is new as a baby’s butt and I really want it! but it’s a lot of money for me so I would be so happy if you showed a look with it (I even sent an email to sigma asking if they could sent it to you for free sense you’ve already done so much promoting for there brushes) Love Lisa

Dear Jaclyn, I am sooooo happy that I found you on youtube. I am getting married in June in France and have (after a terrible makeup trial with a makeup artist in France) decided to do my makeup myself. So watching your videos is basically all I do.

    Now to my questions:

    1. Could you pretty please do a bridal makeup tutorial? Pretty please….. :-)
    2. Could you recommend some makeup without SPF? (I have read that one should not use makeup with SPF in flash photagraphy) I have googled a bit on this and found foundations without SPF, but finding primers, setting powders, concealers, blushes etc. have been so difficult.

    Foreever grateful,
    Bita
