7 March, 2015 at 9:05 pmWhy must you all have amazing rooms and perfect lighting? I have terrible lighting in my room and every time I try to film these videos I get frustrated because it never works out. And your storage is on point Jaclyn. I’ll take a few notes ahah xx

9 March, 2015 at 12:12 amHey Jaclyn,
I’m not sure where you take ideas for videos from so I was going to try this out. I was wondering if you could do a video on a starter makeup kit for if we would be working on other people or clients! Like the must-haves and essentials we would have to have or need to work on different people with different skin types. Or even, some tricks you learned from working on different people. I hope you get this! Xoxo,
Jordan Tanner

9 March, 2015 at 10:30 amHi Jaclyn!! I was hoping you could do a tutorial on under eye make up?? I always have problems with correcting, concealing and setting for dark circles and wrinkles/fine lines. Also could you give tips of how to do lower lash line smokey eyeshadow when there are fine lines or wrinkles as this always seem to exaggerate them? Thanks

13 March, 2015 at 5:47 pmHey Jaclyn! I never post anything anywhere, but today I was having a conversation with a MAC rep, and it made me think of you. I am a freelance make up artist, who is kind of addicted to your channel. I don’t consider us to be very similar in personality, although I think we are both outgoing and very fun, I am a little more “rough” than you, most would dare to say haha. I tell people how it is whether they like it or not (like ‘No, honey you cannot wear an NW25, you are barely an NW15 with a tan!’) And lets get real, you are too sweet and beautiful and adorable and GAH, ok, not getting carried away… Back to my point, this make up artist asked me my routine. I started explaining it like I do with all my Clients, telling them what I do, what to expect, what products I use, what products are my life calling to own…She stopped me in the middle of my shpeel to say “Do you watch Jaclyn Hill?” I was like “um…yes?” and she laughed and said “you are her channel done over, hand motions, lingo, and please don’t have a heart attack over your F80, no one is going to take it from you.” I laughed and had to come post this. Thank you FOR EVERYTHING you do for us, and thank you for being so awesome. We love you very dearly, and my 2 o’clock afternoons would go very slowly without you. I have never met you, but it is like you are my bff. AND I think you did my friend’s Wedding down on Bayshore in Tampa a few years back. If only I knew then what I know now… Thanks love, I hope this makes you smile!

21 March, 2015 at 1:36 amHi Jaclyn,
I agree with Jordan. I would be really interested in a video about a starter makeup kit for working with clients. Just things like what to include, essentials, and maybe some tips and tricks you’ve found to be helpful with this career!
P.S. I loooove your videos by the way. You are so talented!

27 December, 2015 at 10:06 amHi Jacklyn, first off lots of praise to you for being such an honest, down too earth and amazing person/make up artist. Your videos are inspiring. As for my question .. remember how you talked about how lighting is so important.? I wondered wether the lights from ikea called LEDSJÖ would be a good idea to add to my vanity mirror ? Any thoughts or dislikes about it ? Thank you -xxx-

4 February, 2016 at 10:50 pmHey Jaclyn,
Just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you of all your success! You teach me more and more with every video you do. I think you are such an outstanding artist and and even more amazing, down to earth woman. Thank you for all your advise and sharing your talent with all of us. Please never stop believing in yourself, I know you’ve been struggling lately with all the hate happening on your channel; just keep you’re head up and ignore those who put you down. I know it’s hard to do sometimes but the people who put you down are not worth your hurt. I just thought you should know how big of an admirer I am of you. I would also love to know where you got your table top vanity light up mirror (the really big one with the outlets and dimmer). Stay beautiful Jaclyn, keep doing you girl!!!
xoxoxo Dakota Brown from Ontario, Canada.
